Two men have died after an Acura RDX fleeing a Ramsey County sheriff’s deputy crashed into a tree in St Paul, Minnesota, early on Saturday morning.
The deputy attempted to stop the vehicle shortly after midnight near Rose Avenue East and Burr Street North. The driver failed to pull over, beginning a pursuit which lasted about 50 seconds and covered roughly one mile.
The Acura reached speeds of more than 100mph, with the deputy remaining about three blocks behind, according to the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office.
