German Twitch streamer Adam Wolke has died aged 36 after suffering a brain haemorrhage, according to fellow streamer Verena Ullrich.
Ullrich announced his death in an Instagram post, writing: “It is with deep sadness that we must inform you that our Adam has sadly passed away.”
She said Wolke’s brain haemorrhage was caused by a ruptured cerebral aneurysm. “We were by his side until the very end and accompanied him on his final journey,” she added. “We are deeply shaken and still can hardly put into words what has happened.”
Wolke last streamed on Twitch last month. His final Instagram post, published on 15 September, showed him interacting with NBA legend Dirk Nowitzki.
Ullrich’s announcement was shared on Tuesday night.
