Susanna Reid has revealed that she relies on “tiny tweakments” alongside her usual skincare routine to maintain her appearance while presenting Good Morning Britain.
The 55-year-old television presenter, who is regularly on air early in the morning, said she would not claim that her looks were entirely the result of natural ageing.
Speaking to Women & Home, Reid said: “It’s difficult to know, isn’t it, because obviously there are little things that I do, like I have tiny tweakments.”
She added: “I’m not going to pretend it’s all entirely just natural ageing and it’s everything’s just natural.” Reid did not specify what treatments she has had.
The presenter said she uses Aveeno moisturising cream “religiously day and night”, as well as Trinny Woodall’s The Elevator neck cream.
“I think as we get older sometimes we can neglect our necks and so I use that,” she said. Reid also said that drinking little alcohol helped contribute to her natural glow.
Her comments follow attention earlier this year when she appeared via FaceTime on Good Morning Britain from Ibiza to encourage viewers to vote for the programme in the National Television Awards’ Best Daytime Programme category.
Reid joined the broadcast after spending the previous day at a day rave at O Beach club. Wearing a black swimsuit beneath denim shorts, she appeared in front of women holding orange placards spelling out “Vote GMB”.
“Normally what happens in Ibiza stays in Ibiza but this morning I am on special duty for GMB,” she joked during the appearance.
She later shared a photograph from the event on Instagram, describing herself as “Raver Reid” and writing: “VOTE GMB! We are up for Best Daytime Programme at the incredible NTAs so I celebrated at one of Ibiza’s best daytime clubs.”
