Two people were taken to hospital after a five-vehicle crash on Interstate 43 in New Berlin, Wisconsin, on Thursday morning, 10 September.
The collision happened at about 6.25am on the southbound carriageway near Moorland Road, according to the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office.
Both occupants suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening. Investigators believe the crash began when one vehicle failed to stop as traffic slowed, triggering a chain reaction involving the other vehicles.
All lanes have since reopened and traffic is reported to be moving normally.
