She said Handler later shared a video she regarded as Islamophobic and dehumanising, prompting her to publish a pro-Palestinian message on social media. Hindy claimed that subsequent shows with Handler were cancelled and that there were disputes over reimbursement for travel costs. She also alleged that…
Researchers in Arizona have developed a urine test that could help screen for autism in children as young as two, by identifying chemical markers linked to activity in the gut. The test, created by scientists at Arizona State University and collaborators, measures 17 microbially derived metabolites – small compounds produced by microorganisms in the digestive system. Researchers said the markers were found at significantly higher levels in many children with autism than in typically developing children. The findings suggest the test could help identify youngsters who may need a fuller developmental assessment earlier than is currently possible. Urine test for…

Mihir Torsekar said Americans on the lower end of the economy were feeling the effects of higher borrowing costs and weaker purchasing power. Speaking to the “This is America” programme, Mr Torsekar said the pressures were affecting households’ ability to afford goods and manage rising borrowing costs. His comments suggest the economic squeeze could influence voter concerns ahead of the midterms, with affordability emerging as a potentially important issue.
