A pearl-sized grey-black mass has been removed from Brandi Glanville’s face during surgery and sent to a laboratory for testing, with the reality star reportedly still awaiting the results.
People with direct knowledge of the situation said the procedure was carried out as doctors treated an infection. Glanville has reportedly continued to experience symptoms while recovering, suggesting her treatment is not yet complete.
The operation came during a difficult October for Glanville, who also suffered the deaths of her father, Guy Glanville, and close friend Markee M. Hasche, according to the account.
Doctors discovered the mass during the facial surgery and removed it before submitting it for analysis. It has not been disclosed what the testing may show.
Glanville is also preparing to have her implants removed and is researching doctors who specialise in the procedure. She is said to be receiving intravenous treatment at home for 12 hours a day, with the course expected to continue for 90 days.
Her public appearances have reportedly been limited to filming her “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered” podcast. The programme is being reworked, with Glanville set to host alone and place greater emphasis on celebrity guests.
She is also planning to create content for OnlyFans once her health problems have been resolved and she has received medical clearance.
Glanville has previously said she is suffering from highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Valley fever, Demodex dermatitis and mononucleosis. In video footage she recorded, she showed herself pulling at a hard mass beneath her skin before undergoing surgery to remove material and organisms from the area.
