Bryan Seaver has defended his sister Rebecca after she was dismissed from her managerial role at Dolly Parton’s archive and museum operations.
Rebecca and her entire staff were terminated by the team overseeing the country star’s estate, according to the information reported last week. Bryan, who is involved in a separate legal dispute with the company managing the estate, publicly voiced his support for her.
Writing on Facebook, he said: “I am very proud of my sister Rebecca Seaver and her endeavors building Dolly’s archive and museum, and my cousin Danielle Parton is my closest family and my buddy. We are nearest in age and have always been pals.”
He added: “I have always and will forever sing her praises and support her as she goes about her journey and career. Both of these women are dynamos in their fields and there is no feud between us. I love them both with all my heart.”
Bryan previously ran Dolly Parton’s security but was fired over alleged text messages that now sit at the centre of his legal battle with those running her estate.
The people overseeing the estate claim the messages contained threats against Dolly’s businesses. Bryan has said he would never threaten anyone physically, but acknowledged that he would threaten their reputations.
