Bryson Tiller and Kristy Sarah were seen together backstage in South Africa months before their apparent romance attracted attention, according to an eyewitness account.
The pair were reportedly spotted in July when Tiller performed in the country alongside Swae Lee and Masego. The witness said Sarah was sitting with the singer on a sofa in his green room when they went to say hello.
Sarah was invited to join a set of photographs so she would not be left out, but Tiller later asked for the pictures to be taken again with only him in them. He reportedly explained that they were trying to keep their connection private.
The interaction did not initially appear significant to the witness. However, after speaking with Sarah, they invited her to an after-party, where she and Tiller arrived together and appeared “super cozy”, according to the account.
The witness said they did not recognise Sarah at the time and only made the connection after seeing recent coverage of the pair.
Video obtained over the weekend reportedly showed Tiller and Sarah kissing. Sources familiar with the situation said they are not in a relationship, but are casually seeing each other and dating.
It remains unclear when their connection began, although the South Africa sighting suggests they may have been spending time together well before the recent dating speculation.
