G Flip decided to end their four-year relationship with Chrishell Stause, despite Stause being the one to announce their split publicly, people close to the former couple have said.
Stause revealed on Monday that they had agreed to handle the end of their relationship with love and respect. She became emotional while discussing the breakup, saying she was still in love with G Flip and felt “a little bit like a failure” after their years together.
G Flip later addressed the separation, saying they would always love Stause and cherish the memories they had made together.
The Australian musician said their head and heart were feeling “very heavy”, adding that they were not ready to discuss the breakup and asking fans to respect their privacy.
Stause and G Flip first went public with their romance in May 2022 during the reunion for the fifth season of Selling Sunset. They married in Las Vegas the following year.
The former couple went on to celebrate their relationship with further wedding ceremonies and vow renewals before bringing their more than four-year love story to an end.
