Burnley’s home winless run has stretched to 21 matches after Wolves came from behind to secure a 2-1 victory at Turf Moor.
The Clarets have not won on their own ground since beating Leeds 2-0 on October 18 last year. The sequence is the longest current run without a home victory across England’s top four divisions, with Burnley losing 11 of those matches and drawing the other 10.
Jamie Vardy put Nicky Hayen’s side ahead, scoring his first goal in English football since returning last month. Burnley were unable to protect their advantage, however, as defensive mistakes allowed Fer Lopez to equalise for Wolves.
Tawanda Chirewa then completed the turnaround, giving Wolves their first victory in three matches and moving them up to sixth in the table.
