Lewis Hamilton has revealed that he gave Kim Kardashian’s four children a golden retriever puppy while discussing their relationship at the 2026 United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas.
The seven-time Formula One world champion spoke about spending time with Kardashian and her family during an appearance on the Fan Zone stage at the MSC Cruises event.
Asked what brings him happiness away from racing, the 41-year-old said: “Well, my niece and nephew always give me a lot of happiness. My girlfriend’s kids, I love spending time with them. She’s got four, so I’m getting to play with these kids.”
Hamilton then confirmed that Halo, the golden retriever puppy recently seen on both his and Kardashian’s Instagram accounts, was his gift to the children.
“I got them a dog this year. Halo has been a member of that family,” he said.
Kardashian, 46, shares daughters North, 13, and Chicago, eight, and sons Saint, 10, and Psalm, seven, with her former husband Kanye West.
The puppy joined the family less than a year after Hamilton’s English bulldog Roscoe died. Marking the first anniversary of Roscoe’s death in late September, Hamilton wrote: “Being without my best friend has been hard, and there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t wish he was with me.”
Hamilton and Kardashian have shared a number of social media posts together over the past year and have travelled with her children. They were seen in Tokyo in March, spent the Fourth of July at a lake house and visited Hawaii in August.
Kardashian has also attended Hamilton’s racing events, joining her sister Khloe at the Monaco Grand Prix in June and attending the Singapore Grand Prix sprint race in October with friends including Stephanie Shepherd.
