A man has been taken into custody after allegedly stabbing a 21-year-old during a fight in Chicago’s Loop early on Thursday morning.
Chicago police said officers were called to the area of Lake and Dearborn streets at about 1.30am, where the victim had suffered a slash to the chest from a “sharp object”.
He was taken to Northwestern Hospital and was reported to be in good condition.
The suspected attacker was detained at the scene, where police said a weapon was recovered. No charges had been announced and the investigation remained ongoing.
Detectives from Area Three were leading the inquiry.
