Police are investigating after the body of a man was reportedly left at an apartment complex in south-west Houston on Saturday afternoon.
Houston Police Department officers were called to the Peachtree Apartments on Rampart Street, near Interstate 59 and Renwick Street, at about 2.45pm on September 12.
They found an unresponsive man at the complex. Houston Fire Department personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.

Police said the man’s body showed no obvious signs of trauma. His identity has not been released and the cause of death remains under investigation.
An anonymous witness told local media on Sunday that she had called 911 after another person alerted her to the body.
“I asked her, ‘What happened?’ She said, ‘Look, there’s a guy dead,’” the witness said. “She said they just dropped a man there.”
The witness claimed the man had bruising around his neck and that his wallet had been emptied. She said he was not responding when she found him.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division on 713-308-3600.
