Maura Higgins has been paired with professional dancer Mark Ballas for the upcoming 35th season of Dancing With The Stars, it was confirmed on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
The reality star will compete alongside Ballas, the son of Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas, when the American dance contest returns later this month.
Higgins and Ballas previously appeared together on the latest season of The Traitors. Before the partnership was announced, Higgins said she and Ballas had danced together during filming and described him as “an incredible dancer”.
Higgins rose to fame on Love Island before moving into television presenting and appearing on Love Island USA and Love Island Games. She finished as runner-up on the most recent season of The Traitors.
The new season of Dancing With The Stars will begin with a two-night premiere on September 15 and 16, airing on ABC and Disney+ before streaming on Hulu the following day.
