Grayson Chrisley is seeking to prevent the man suing him and his family from accessing medical and drug-testing records relating to a 2022 car crash in Tennessee.
Patrick Rykwalder, who is suing Grayson, Todd and Julie Chrisley and their daughter Savannah, says the records should be disclosed as part of his case. He is seeking to examine claims about Grayson’s condition after the accident.
Rykwalder says Todd discussed the crash on his podcast in November 2022, claiming he went to the scene and accompanied his son to hospital. Todd allegedly said hospital staff carried out a toxicology test on Grayson.
Grayson has also claimed he suffered a concussion. Rykwalder argues that the medical records could help establish whether that was the case.
The Chrisley family disputes his right to obtain the documents. Its position is that Grayson has already admitted liability for the crash and that the records are not relevant to assessing damages.
The collision happened when Grayson was driving a 2020 Ford 5150 pickup and struck Rykwalder. Rykwalder alleges that Grayson caused the accident by failing to pay attention, while Grayson denies that claim.
The legal case remains ongoing.
