Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, has expanded into homeware with a second Christmas collection featuring a teapot, tableware, candles and gift hampers.
The Duchess of Sussex unveiled the new range on Thursday, describing it as “Chapter Two” of the brand’s festive offering. The collection is currently available only in the United States.
Among the new products is the Trellis tabletop collection, which includes crockery, napkins and an heirloom handwoven rattan charger set priced at $130. A blue-and-white porcelain teapot is being sold for $98, or about £73.
As Ever also introduced a two-wick holiday candle priced at $98, with notes of pine, berry, cashmere and clove. The candle is marketed as a limited-edition seasonal fragrance and is recommended alongside a $410 Candle Lover’s basket.
Other additions include a $98 leather notebook called “Penny for Your Thoughts”, described by the brand as “a simple luxury for everyday use and enjoyment”, as well as woven copper coasters and a blue teacup and saucer.
The collection was previewed in a newsletter to subscribers titled “Hosting with Heart”. Meghan told readers that her “secret to hosting with ease” was “preparation” and advised them to deal with small details before guests arrived.
As Ever’s new Christmas gifts
One of the most expensive items is the $535 Library Basket, worth just under £400. It includes a leatherbound notebook, coasters, a card set, a candle and a matchbox.
A $75 Trophy Chocolate Bar Gift Set contains five limited-edition bars made in collaboration with Los Angeles chocolatier Compartés, which also worked with As Ever on Meghan’s advent calendar.
The brand is also selling a curated popcorn medley for $65. The selection includes milk chocolate, white chocolate and salted popcorn flavours topped with As Ever’s signature flower sprinkles.
The new collection follows the launch of a $148 advent calendar earlier this month. The box contains 24 handcrafted chocolates, with flavours including strawberry, raspberry, blackberry and orange marmalade, and was inspired by Meghan and Prince Harry’s former Montecito home and garden.
It is described as Meghan’s first major As Ever product since she, Prince Harry and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, moved back to the UK. The calendar is available to order in the US, with delivery from early November.
As Ever has also entered the Christmas hamper market. Its $211 Holiday Collection basket contains peppermint and lemon-and-ginger tea, three spreads, flower sprinkles and Meghan’s scented candles.
The brand previously launched three further hampers, including the £180 Parlour Basket, along with playing cards. There has been speculation that some products, including the brand’s £11 tea tins and £50 scented candles, could eventually be sold in the UK.
The festive range was promoted through As Ever’s Instagram account, where a photograph showed some of the new items arranged on a wooden table, including raspberry spread, jam cookies, a teacup and woven coasters.
