Jessica Chastain’s horror film Other Mommy reportedly has a post-credits scene, meaning cinema-goers are being advised to remain in their seats after the main feature ends.
The film centres on eight-year-old Bela, played by Arabella Olivia Clark, who encounters an entity that looks and sounds like her mother. Chastain plays both Bela’s mother and the mysterious creature.
What happens after the credits in Other Mommy?
Spoiler warning: a scene is said to appear at the very end of the credits. It features Other Mommy looking directly into the camera before saying: “shhh”.
Other Mommy is based on Incidents Around the House, a book by Josh Malerman, who also wrote Bird Box.
The film is currently in cinemas and is expected to top the box office, although the early reviews have been largely negative. A Rotten Tomatoes score was not yet available at the time of reporting.
Chastain has previously appeared in horror films including 2013’s Mama and It: Chapter Two in 2019. Both films were directed by Andy Muschietti.
