Paul Hollywood has reportedly resumed landing his £500,000 helicopter on the rear lawn of his £1 million farmhouse in Kent, despite earlier complaints about the noise and disruption caused by the aircraft.
The Great British Bake Off judge had moved the Robinson Raven to a local aerodrome after residents objected to his flights, with claims that the noise had disturbed the area and frightened horses.
He is now said to have returned to using the private landing spot at his home, allowing him to fly directly from the property rather than first travelling to the aerodrome.
Hollywood has used the helicopter for the roughly 120-mile journey from Kent to Welford Park in Berkshire, where The Great British Bake Off is filmed.
His commuting arrangements have also reportedly attracted attention from new Bake Off judge Nigella Lawson, who is said to have travelled to the set by car. Channel 4 has rejected suggestions that the pair are engaged in a serious dispute over the helicopter.
