Serbia is holding an early election in which Aleksandar Vučić faces an unprecedented challenge from the student movement that has emerged as his most serious rival.
Mr Vučić has been the country’s most powerful politician for 14 years. After stepping down from his second mandate as president, he is now standing for prime minister.
The vote has placed students at the centre of Serbia’s political contest, raising the prospect that they could take power in the country.
