Several people have been killed and others injured after a Dutch tour bus overturned near Susch in eastern Switzerland, police said.
The crash happened on Thursday on the road between Susch and the nearby village of Zernez, in the Alpine canton of Graubünden. Emergency services were sent to the scene, where the coach came to rest on its side beside the road.
Swiss authorities have not yet disclosed the precise number of fatalities or injuries. The cause of the crash is also under investigation.
According to Dutch reports, 48 people were travelling on the coach and all were Dutch passengers. The bus was operating a tour organised by Oad, a Dutch travel company.
The Dutch travel industry association ANVR said the identities of those killed and injured had not been established. Oad said its immediate priority was supporting those affected and that it was awaiting confirmed information from the Swiss authorities.
Several rescue units and trauma helicopters were involved in the response, while the road between Susch and Zernez was closed as police began examining the circumstances of the crash.
