Tickets for Telethon 2026 go on sale on Tuesday, September 8, with Jessica Mauboy, Morgan Evans and Rogue Traders among the performers set to appear at RAC Arena during the 26-hour fundraising broadcast.
Mauboy will return for the opening and closing ceremonies on October 17 and 18, while country singer Evans and Rogue Traders will make their Telethon debuts.
The band, fronted by Natalie Bassingthwaighte and featuring James Ash, said they were looking forward to joining the event in Western Australia for the first time.
“We are coming to WA for Telethon, it’s our first time, we cannot wait, we’re so excited,” Bassingthwaighte said.
Ash added: “It’s such a beautiful time to bring the community together and support all kids in need. It’s going to be huge, we’ll see you there.”
Telethon 2026 line-up expands
The Rogue Traders will join a growing line-up that includes The Voice coach Kate Miller-Heidke, who will also make her Telethon debut, as well as Human Nature singer Phil Burton and former X Factor Australia winner Reece Mastin.
Mastin is returning to the event for the first time in more than a decade and said he would perform with his band while also helping answer phones during the broadcast.
“I’m coming back after many years, I’m bringing the band, we’re playing a couple of songs to help raise some money for an amazing cause,” he said.
“From what I remember of it, it was always such an amazing atmosphere backstage that translated on the screen and always raised an incredible amount of money.”
The 60 Four, The Ten Tenors, Mark Vincent, Gisella Colletti and Boox Kid will also perform across the weekend.
The programme will feature more than music, with AFL figures Shane Crawford, Kane Cornes, Campbell Brown and Brian Taylor returning alongside Perth favourite Ben Cousins.
Stars from Home and Away, Better Homes and Gardens, Sunrise, The Morning Show and The Chase will join the 7NEWS Perth team and local sporting personalities. Telethon mascot Fat Cat is also expected to make an appearance.
Burton said the event offered a rare opportunity to see the impact of fundraising for children’s charities across Western Australia.
“Being part of the WA Telethon is such a unique experience and a wonderful experience because not only do you get to see the incredible amount of money that is raised for all of the children’s charities across the State, but you also get to see firsthand the joy in being a part of this and the community spirit that it fosters amongst everyone,” he said.
Telethon’s 2025 appeal raised $90,160,275 for sick, vulnerable and disadvantaged children, with funds distributed among 147 charities and organisations across the state.
Tickets for the live shows at RAC Arena cost $35 and will be available from 9am on Tuesday, September 8. The Telethon broadcast will run across Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18.
