The animated remake of The Cat in the Hat features multiple post-credits scenes, meaning cinema audiences will need to stay in their seats after the main film ends.
A mid-credits sequence centres on Pig in a Wig’s birthday. It is followed by a dedication to Dr Seuss, before the Cat in the Hat jokes about the possibility of a sequel.

There is also a scene after the credits have finished, in which the Go-Backer takes viewers back to the beginning of the film. The moment is cut short when Sherrie from HR steps in and says the film is over.
The film follows the Cat, voiced by Bill Hader, as he is tasked by the I.I.I.I. — the Institute for the Institution of Imagination and Inspiration, LLC — with cheering up siblings Gabby and Sebastian after their move to a new town.
The Cat’s attempts to complete the assignment threaten to go too far, leaving him facing the possibility of losing his magical hat.
The Cat in the Hat has a running time of one hour and 47 minutes and is rated PG. It is receiving an exclusive cinema release from November 6, while no streaming date has been announced.
Audiences who remain through the credits will also see the names of those involved in making the film.
