Three people, including a child, were injured when a small propeller plane crashed in San Jose, California, on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Capitol Expressway and Excalibur Drive shortly after 3pm, the San Jose Fire Department said.
Two adults and the child were taken to hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. No other injuries were reported.
The crash did not involve any vehicles and caused a minor fuel leak, which firefighters absorbed. Members of the public were advised to avoid the area while emergency crews dealt with the scene.
Authorities had not immediately established what caused the plane to come down. It was also unclear whether those injured had been aboard the aircraft or were on the ground.
