Mark Cutifani has resigned from the Woodside Energy board after seven months as a director, citing personal reasons and a reassessment of his professional commitments.
In an announcement to the ASX, Cutifani said: “My decision has been made for personal reasons, as I reassess my global professional commitments and identify where I can best devote my time and personal contributions.”
He added: “I wish the Woodside team every success in the future.”
Cutifani has accepted a non-executive director position with gold miner Northern Resources. Shareholders will vote on his appointment in November.
