Angry Anderson has been hospitalised after suffering a cardiac arrest, with the 79-year-old Rose Tattoo frontman’s condition prompting the cancellation of the band’s remaining European tour dates.
The Australian singer was admitted to hospital following a medical emergency. Rose Tattoo confirmed earlier this month that Anderson was receiving treatment, but did not disclose further details about his condition.
In a statement issued on 10 August, the band said all remaining shows on its 2026 European tour had been cancelled and asked fans to respect Anderson’s privacy and that of his family.
Rose Tattoo had been performing as part of its “One Last Ride” tour, which was billed as the group’s final European run. The last concert took place in Cologne on 7 August, before scheduled performances across Europe were called off.
The band thanked fans for their messages of support and said tickets for the cancelled headline shows could be returned at the point of purchase.
