Celine Dion delighted fans outside the Le Royal Monceau hotel in Paris as she prepares for her return to the stage, stepping outside in an oversized designer tracksuit to greet the crowd gathered outside.
The Canadian singer chatted with admirers before breaking into song and dancing for those waiting near the luxury hotel. She was seen performing snippets of her music and sharing an informal moment with fans ahead of her forthcoming concerts in the French capital.
Dion has made several appearances outside the hotel since arriving in Paris on August 28, with supporters gathering behind security barriers in the hope of seeing her. On Thursday night, she joined fans in singing her French-language hit Ziggy, from the musical Starmania.
Her visit comes shortly before the first show of Celine Dion Paris 2026, which will begin at the Plenitude Arena in Nanterre on September 12. The official concert series includes 16 dates across September and October, with a further ten performances scheduled for May 2027.
The concerts will mark Dion’s most substantial return to live performance since she disclosed her diagnosis with stiff-person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder, in 2022. She largely withdrew from touring after cancelling her Courage World Tour as her condition progressed.
Dion’s return to Paris follows her widely praised appearance at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games, where she performed Hymne à l’amour from the Eiffel Tower. Her upcoming shows are expected to feature songs from her English- and French-language catalogue.
