Cindy Crawford visited her daughter Kaia Gerber’s Los Angeles home on Thursday as the supermodel mourns the death of her son, Presley Gerber.
The 60-year-old was seen carrying several bags into the 25-year-old actress’s home. She wore wide-leg jeans, a tan jacket and brown boots, with sunglasses covering her eyes.
The visit came shortly after Crawford, her husband Rande Gerber and Kaia broke their silence over Presley’s death. He died on September 20 at the age of 27.
In a joint statement shared on Instagram, the family said they were “beyond heartbroken” and described Presley as “a sweet, beautiful soul who loved and is loved, now and forever”.
“We are so proud of how he showed up in the world, with kindness and vulnerability,” they wrote.
The statement added: “We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from so many who know and love our family and even strangers who feel our pain. Til we meet again our sweet boy. We love you forever, Mom, Dad and Kaia.”
Kaia also paid tribute to her older brother, sharing home video footage of the pair as children alongside an open letter.
“prez, i don’t have the words,” she wrote. “how naive of me to believe that language could transcend grief.”
She added: “i’ve read all of the books and i have none of the answers. my articulation is no match against this, the magnitude of losing you.
“i am, quite literally, down on my f***ing knees.”
Presley Gerber’s death
Presley died after suffering cardiac arrest while staying at the Santa Monica rehabilitation facility Resolutions Living. His death has been described as a suspected overdose, although a final confirmation of any substances involved will depend on the medical examiner’s toxicology report.
Reports said he had been open in recent years about his mental health and drug addiction. In November 2025, he said he had stepped back from social media to “take care of my own mental health for a bit”, before later sharing videos about mental health.
Kaia had spoken about the impact of her brother’s struggles on the family shortly before his death, telling Vogue: “When something like that happens in a family, it kind of levels everyone.”
She said her parents had been private for most of their lives, adding that Presley had become “this absolute teacher” who was willing to be “very human for everyone”.
