A multi-vehicle crash on the Princes Highway north of Tom Uglys Bridge has brought traffic across Sydney’s south to a standstill, with congestion stretching for about 5km.
The collision caused severe delays along one of the city’s main southern routes, leaving motorists trapped in long queues and facing lengthy journeys.
Traffic was heavily affected around the bridge and surrounding approaches as drivers attempted to pass the crash scene.
Motorists travelling through the area were urged to allow extra time and expect significant disruption while the incident was dealt with.
