Damian Lewis brought a touch of tartan to the European premiere of Pressure in London, joining co-stars Brendan Fraser and Andrew Scott on the blue carpet at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square.
The 55-year-old actor wore a green and blue tartan tuxedo with a pale blue shirt and dark sunglasses for the screening on Tuesday, September 1. Lewis plays Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery in the Second World War drama.
Fraser, 57, opted for a dark suit, while Scott, 49, looked smart in a navy suit and red shirt as the trio posed for photographs and chatted outside the cinema.

Pressure follows the tense decisions before D-Day
The film focuses on the 72 hours before the Normandy landings, when Allied commanders faced a crucial decision over whether weather conditions would allow the invasion to go ahead.
Fraser portrays General Dwight D. Eisenhower, the Supreme Allied Commander, who is shown wrestling with the consequences of a disastrous rehearsal for the landings known as Exercise Tiger.
He turns to Royal Air Force meteorologist James Stagg, played by Scott, for a forecast that could determine the fate of the operation. Stagg’s assessment conflicts with that of American meteorologist Irving P. Krick, portrayed by Chris Messina.
As the deadline approaches, Montgomery warns that cancelling D-Day could cost the Allies the war, while Eisenhower questions whether he can place the lives of hundreds of thousands of troops in the hands of a weather expert.

Speaking at the premiere, Lewis said he felt a “moral responsibility” when portraying real people and described Montgomery as a “very complex and Marmite character”, according to the London Standard.
