A family home was badly damaged by fire in Baldivis, south of Perth, after flames broke out on Candela Parkway shortly after 5pm on Monday, August 31.
One occupant was treated for burns at the scene but did not require hospital treatment.
Firefighters from the Department of Fire and Emergency Services attended and brought the blaze under control within an hour. The extent of the damage left the property uninhabitable.
The scene was cordoned off overnight, with a guard stationed at the house while investigators prepared to return on Tuesday morning.
The cause of the fire had not been disclosed.
