Google is rolling out a new “Remembered” tab in Find Hub, allowing Android users to save where they have put everyday belongings and retrieve the information later.
The feature follows last week’s Android Drop and appears alongside the existing Devices and People tabs. It is marked with a bookmark symbol carrying the Gemini sparkle.
Users can ask Gemini to remember an item’s location, such as a passport placed in a particular drawer. The floating action button includes an “Ask Gemini” shortcut, while those who prefer to enter details themselves can choose “Manual entry”.
Each saved item is given a name and storage spot. Further information can be added, including a photograph, a location such as Home and personal notes.
Saved belongings are displayed in a list within Find Hub, with the details also available to Gemini for hands-free requests. The feature is included in version 3.1.732-02 of the app, which is being distributed through the Google Play Store but has not yet reached all users.
