A routine traffic stop led investigators to a Philadelphia property dubbed the “House of Horrors” by neighbours, where authorities uncovered conflicting and disturbing evidence linked to the late Raymond C. Horsch.
The case has raised fresh questions about the disappearance of Horsch’s ex-wife, Amy McHale, and six other missing women. Their families hope clues from the property could shed new light on what happened to them.
The home has also been described as a possible “House of Mirrors”, reflecting the uncertainty surrounding the evidence and the competing interpretations of what investigators found.
“48 Hours” correspondent Anne-Marie Green and programme consultant and investigator Herman Weisberg examine the discoveries made at the Philadelphia house and the questions they leave unanswered.
The investigation centres on whether the evidence at the property can help explain the disappearances, while authorities continue to confront the disturbing and conflicting picture it presents.
