Sadiq Farhad Azad, 33, has been charged with the alleged rape of a 14-year-old boy, stalking a woman in her 20s and criminal damage in Portsmouth.
Azad, an Iraqi national of no fixed address, has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on Monday, September 7.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said police received a report on August 11 that the child had allegedly been raped in an alleyway off London Road. The incident was reported to have taken place between 7pm and 8pm on Thursday, August 6.
Investigators said the child had spoken to the suspect on a bus before the alleged attack but did not previously know him.
A separate report was made on September 1 by a woman in her 20s, who told police that she had allegedly been stalked by a man over the course of a year. She also reported that a family member’s car had been damaged.
Azad has been charged with rape of a boy aged 13 to 15, stalking under Section 4A of the Protection from Harassment Act and criminal damage to property valued at less than £5,000.
