Kylie Lim and Australian billionaire James Packer have been enjoying their first weeks of married life with a Mediterranean escape to Ibiza, following their private wedding off Sardinia in August.
The newlyweds were seen arriving by boat for a low-key outing on the Spanish island, accompanied by friends and family. Lim appeared relaxed as the couple continued their summer travels after quietly tying the knot.
Packer and Lim married in a small ceremony aboard his superyacht, IJE, off the north-eastern coast of Sardinia. A spokesman confirmed the wedding to Australian broadcaster 7NEWS, saying it was attended by a small group of relatives and friends. Lim, 46, has since offered a glimpse of the celebrations, sharing a photograph from the wedding day in which she posed beside Packer while holding their Cavoodle, Waffle. She wore a strapless white dress with floral detailing, a veil and diamond jewellery, while Packer chose a blue suit and open-necked shirt. The ceremony came shortly after the couple attended wedding celebrations for Packer’s niece in Mallorca, Spain, before travelling onwards through the Mediterranean aboard the 107-metre yacht.
The marriage is believed to be Lim’s first. For Packer, 58, it is his third wedding, following his marriages to Jodhi Meares and Erica Baxter.
The couple first began dating after being introduced by mutual friends and were together for several years before separating. They rekindled their relationship before announcing their engagement earlier this year, when Packer said they were “very happy to be engaged and looking forward to the future”.
