The Real Housewives of London returns for a second series on Monday, with Amanda Cronin and Juliet Angus’ notorious Paddington row set to remain one of the show’s defining feuds.
All six original cast members are back for the new run on Hayu, including Karen Loderick-Peace, Juliet Mayhew, Panthea Parker and Nessie Welschinger. The series will follow the women through charity events, London Fashion Week and a trip to Antigua, with producers promising further tension between the group. Cronin and Angus’ strained relationship began before filming and became a central storyline in the first series. Their dispute reached its most memorable point when Cronin told Angus to “go back to Paddington”, while Angus maintained that she lived in Notting Hill.
Speaking ahead of the second series, Cronin repeated her position, saying: “You do not live in Notting Hill, you live on the border of Paddington and Bayswater.” Angus, meanwhile, has treated the row with humour and even sold “I heart Paddington” T-shirts after the exchange became a viral moment. The argument has since taken on a life of its own away from the programme. Cronin released a debut single titled Back to Paddington, while Angus has joked about producing a rival song called On the Tracks of Victoria.
The Real Housewives of London cast return to Hayu
The returning Housewives were chosen in part because of their existing friendships and rivalries. Helen Kruger Bratt, managing director of production company UTAS UK, said the cast had “real history” and that the programme allowed genuine situations to play out rather than creating conflict for the cameras. The first series’ success also led to its acquisition by American network Bravo, where it made its US cable debut in July. The second series of The Real Housewives of London begins on Hayu on 7 September, with episodes released weekly.
