Nicola Peltz Beckham accepted the Rising Star Award at the Kinéo Awards in Venice on Saturday night, paying tribute to her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, during her acceptance speech.
The actress, screenwriter and producer received the honour at Casa Cinema Giovani on the Venice Lido as part of the 25th edition of the Kinéo Awards, held alongside the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.
Peltz Beckham, 31, has worked in film and television for around two decades, beginning her acting career as a child. Her credits include The Last Airbender, Transformers: Age of Extinction and Bates Motel.
She has also moved into writing and directing, making her feature debut behind the camera with Lola in 2024, in which she also starred. The Kinéo citation recognised her increasingly varied work both in front of and behind the camera.
Brooklyn Beckham, 27, accompanied his wife to Venice for the ceremony. The couple have been married since 2022.
Peltz Beckham was honoured alongside Oscar-winning actress Faye Dunaway, who received a Lifetime Achievement Award. The Kinéo Awards are an independent event staged during the Venice Film Festival rather than part of its official competition.
