A 50-year-old woman from Ocoee died after her car left the road and crashed near North Hiawassee Road in Orange County, Florida, authorities said.
The woman was driving a 2016 Lexus IS northbound on North Hiawassee Road on Saturday as she approached the junction with Clarcona Ocoee Road.
Investigators believe she may have suffered a medical episode, causing the vehicle to veer into a nearby business car park.
The Lexus travelled through the car park before hitting a kerb, fence and tree, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The driver was taken to AdventHealth Apopka, where she was pronounced dead. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
