Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect accused of breaking into a town house in the Alexandria area of Northern Virginia.
Fairfax County Police said the incident happened at about 8.40am on Friday, 28 August, in the 6300 block of Manchester Way in Lincolnia, within the Landmark Mews community.
Investigators said the suspect entered through a rear door and took an item of clothing. The homeowner confronted him, prompting him to flee; no one was injured.
Security footage reportedly shows the man in a white T-shirt, shorts and socks, near a hot tub in the garden. Police said further footage captured him jumping over fences between neighbouring homes.
Detectives are asking anyone who recognises the suspect or has information about the burglary to contact the Franconia District Station on 703-922-0894 and ask for a detective.
