Ryan Seacrest has offered a rare update on his relationship status, joking during his radio show that he has “recently single behavior” despite appearing unsure when asked whether he was single.
The 51-year-old Wheel of Fortune host discussed the subject during Wednesday’s episode of On Air with Ryan Seacrest, while explaining the term “RSB”.
“You can spot this stuff,” Seacrest said. “Somebody changes the colour of their hair. Recent single behaviour. Everybody has their own way of doing it.”
He then added: “I have RSB, but I didn’t SB.” When co-host Tanya Rad asked whether he was sure, Seacrest paused before replying: “Hmmm. No.”
Seacrest later joked that he had “LSB – long-time single behaviour”, suggesting that he is not currently in a relationship, although his comments remained light-hearted.
His remarks follow speculation sparked by an Instagram post in August, when the American Idol host shared photographs of himself cooking and preparing what he described as “dinner for two”.
Seacrest has previously dated a number of high-profile women, but did not identify a current partner during the radio discussion.
