Adam Thomas has recalled the moment a gun was pointed at his head on a bus when he was a teenager, saying he initially believed the weapon was fake.
The Waterloo Road actor, now 38, described the ordeal during an episode of the At Home With The Thomas Bros podcast, which he presents with his brothers Ryan and Scott.
Adam said he was aged about 14 or 15 and sitting at the back of a double-decker bus when a group of boys boarded.
“I got a gun pulled to my head on a bus,” he said. “I was sat at the back of the bus on a double decker. And this group of lads got on and they basically pulled out a gun and put it to my head and I thought it was like a pretend gun.”
He said the group then removed the cylinder from the revolver and showed him the ammunition, leaving him convinced that he was in serious danger.
“Then they took the like revolver out and showed me all the bullets and I just s**t myself,” Adam added.
Ryan, 42, reacted with disbelief, asking his brother: “What! Were you in like Grand Theft Auto or something?”
The account was shared as the brothers discussed travel and personal experiences on the latest episode of their podcast, released on Wednesday.
Adam is known for playing Donte Charles in Waterloo Road, while Ryan is a former Coronation Street actor. Their twin brother Scott is also known for appearing on Love Island.
