Susanna Reid has revealed that she permits herself one day of drinking each year, making an exception to her usually teetotal lifestyle during a family trip to Ibiza with her three sons.
The Good Morning Britain presenter, 55, enjoyed tequila-based Paloma cocktails at O Beach, the well-known daytime venue on the Spanish island, while spending time with Sam, 24, Finn, 21, and Jack, 20.
Reid has previously spoken about largely giving up alcohol, but said her annual Ibiza visit provides an opportunity to relax and join her sons at the resort’s day clubs. She reportedly kept her drinking to a couple of cocktails and left the venue at around 8pm, while her sons continued their night out.
She also maintained her usual early-morning routine during the holiday, including walks along the beach and exercise, despite the island’s reputation for late-night partying.
Earlier this month, Reid shared photographs from O Beach on Instagram, posing in a black swimsuit alongside dancers holding signs urging viewers to vote for Good Morning Britain.
The ITV programme has been shortlisted for Best Daytime Programme at the 2026 National Television Awards, which are due to take place at London’s O2 arena on 8 September.
Reid is expected to return to the Good Morning Britain sofa next week following her summer break.
