The Age’s 2026 Schools that Excel series is highlighting Victorian schools that have delivered outstanding improvements in their VCE and VET results over the past decade.
The series examines sustained progress rather than focusing solely on a single year’s performance, recognising schools whose students have made notable gains across senior secondary education.
Alongside VCE outcomes, the initiative also considers vocational education and training results, reflecting the range of pathways available to students beyond traditional academic study.
Its decade-long focus is intended to provide a broader measure of school improvement and celebrate institutions that have helped students achieve stronger results over time.
