Tim McGraw fell on stage during a concert at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Thursday, 27 August, but quickly recovered and carried on with his performance.
The country star was singing his 1995 hit I Like It, I Love It when he appeared to lose his balance and tumble backwards on stage. Footage from the concert showed McGraw getting back to his feet shortly afterwards. McGraw appeared to make light of the mishap, telling the audience: “There’s a hole there!” He then continued with the set at the Cincinnati venue, where he was performing as part of his Pawn Shop Guitar Tour.
After the show, McGraw shared photographs and video from the concert on Instagram, including footage of the fall. He captioned the post: “Cincinnati, you started our weekend off on the right foot even if I couldn’t stay on mine 😂 We appreciate you coming out and singing along!”
