Richarlison has agreed personal terms with Trabzonspor as the Tottenham forward pushes for a move away from north London before the Turkish transfer window closes.
Fabrizio Romano reports that the proposed salary would be around three times the Brazil international’s current earnings at Spurs. Richarlison has also spoken to Brazilian players at Trabzonspor, including Fabinho, as he considers the next stage of his career.
The deal is not yet complete, however, with Tottenham holding out for a higher transfer fee. The club have rejected bids of £15 million and £20 million from the Turkish side, who are expected to return with an improved offer. Richarlison left out of Tottenham squad
Richarlison was left out of Tottenham’s Premier League squad as negotiations continued, strengthening the expectation that his four-year spell with the club is nearing its end. The 29-year-old joined Spurs from Everton in 2022 in a deal worth up to £60 million. Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi has already made clear that the player wants to leave. Speaking after the defeat by Newcastle United on August 29, he said: “Richarlison, I don’t know. He said too many times he wants to leave.” ([sports.yahoo.com](https://sports.yahoo.com/videos/zerbi-richarlison-danso-sarr-asked-053944142.html?utm_source=openai))
The Turkish transfer window is due to close on Friday, September 4, leaving limited time for Trabzonspor and Tottenham to reach an agreement. If no deal is struck, the move could instead be revisited when the transfer market reopens in January.
