Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews have welcomed their fourth child, a baby boy, with the presenter sharing the news on Instagram on Tuesday evening, September 1.
Williams, 40, and Matthews, 38, are already parents to Theodore, seven, Gigi, six, and Otto, four. The couple shared photographs from hospital, including images of their three older children meeting their new baby brother.
Announcing the arrival, Williams wrote: “Our beautiful baby boy has arrived safely… The house is bursting with excitement, love and happiness and we couldn’t be more delighted.”
The newborn’s name has not yet been revealed. The couple previously considered naming him Elvis, but changed their minds shortly before his birth after Williams admitted she had never felt completely comfortable with the choice.
Speaking on the My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast, which she co-hosts with Joanne McNally, Williams said: “We have changed our baby name – we have no name. You know the name was pretty full on and I loved the name.”
She explained that family members had contacted Matthews about the proposed name, adding that although Elvis remained her favourite, it was “such a big name to take on when you’re little or trying to get a job when you’re older”.
Williams and Matthews announced in April that they were expecting their fourth child, sharing a series of family photographs online alongside the caption: “BABY NUMBER 4 INCOMING…”
The couple, who married in 2018, received messages of congratulations from friends and fellow broadcasters after announcing the birth. Holly Willoughby described Williams as a “super mamma”, while Amanda Holden and Zoe Ball were also among those to send their good wishes.
