A woman in her mid-40s has been found dead inside an apartment in west Harris County, Texas, with the circumstances of her death under investigation.
Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office were called to an apartment complex on Clay Road, just west of Highway 6, where they discovered the woman’s body.
Her identity has not been released and her cause of death remains unknown. Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said foul play had not been ruled out, although investigators had yet to establish what happened.
The investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to determine how the woman died.
