Police and other law-enforcement agencies launched a planned operation at two hotels in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, on Wednesday, September 9, as part of an investigation into suspected human trafficking, narcotics distribution, firearms offences and other criminal activity.
The operation was under way at the Travelodge and Super 8 hotels on James Circle, near Interstate 694, according to Brooklyn Center police.
Authorities urged members of the public to avoid the area while officers carried out the operation. Temporary road closures and traffic restrictions were possible.
Police have not disclosed whether anyone has been arrested, nor have they released further details about the alleged offences or the scope of the investigation.
