A six-month-old boy has been killed in a rollover crash on Interstate 57 in Harvey, Illinois, with seven other people taken to hospital, state police said.
The child was identified as Dakari Lomax, from Chicago, by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Illinois State Police said the infant was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The seven other occupants were also taken to hospital with injuries, although their conditions were not immediately available.
Northbound I-57 and the entrance ramp from 147th Street were closed while officers investigated the crash and the vehicle was recovered. Both reopened at about 10.47pm.
Police have not said what caused the vehicle to leave the road and overturn. The investigation remains ongoing.
