Cruz Beckham appeared to take another swipe at his estranged brother Brooklyn after sharing a cosy family photograph following his performance at Leeds Festival.
The 21-year-old musician played with his band, The Breakers, at Bramham Park on Sunday, 30 August, as the Reading and Leeds weekend brought his festival appearances to a close. The official Leeds Festival line-up listed the group on the Canopy stage.
In a series of images posted after the show, Cruz highlighted the support surrounding his music career and his close relationship with members of his family. Brooklyn, who is married to actress Nicola Peltz, was notably absent.
The post was interpreted as a pointed reminder of the family divide, although Cruz did not directly mention his older brother or refer to their disagreement.
The latest gesture follows a series of public signs that Cruz has continued to acknowledge his relationship with Brooklyn despite the rift. In August, he shared a childhood photograph of himself with Brooklyn and their brother Romeo, captioning it “Brothers” alongside a blue heart emoji. Brooklyn has previously said publicly that he does not want to reconcile with his family, while alleging that his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, tried to control the public narrative around their relationships and marriage. Those claims have not been accepted by the Beckhams. ([apnews.com](https://apnews.com/article/fb386d4ef5cde9fa55b97604482e8ff0))
Cruz’s festival appearances came during a prominent weekend for his band. David and Victoria were seen supporting him at Reading Festival on 29 August, where The Breakers performed on the same Canopy stage before travelling to Leeds for the group’s second major festival date. There has been no indication that the family rift has been resolved, but Cruz’s latest photograph suggests he remains willing to publicly celebrate the family connections that have become increasingly strained.
