Two suspected minors are being sought after a woman was shot in the leg with what police believe may have been a pellet or BB gun on a Houston METRO bus.
The incident happened shortly before 5pm on Saturday near the junction of Hillcroft Avenue and Dashwood Drive in south-west Houston, according to METRO.
The woman was getting off the bus when she was struck, an officer at the scene said. She was taken to hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Two males left the bus after the shooting. They were described as wearing black clothing, with one said to have dreadlocks and the other a short haircut. Police believe they may be minors.
Officials said the woman did not know the suspects. No arrests had been reported and no one involved had been identified.
METRO Police are investigating the incident and continuing to search for the two suspects.
